This mug has been made by me, in my shed/studio in Bunya Qld. It was made on the wheel, dried a bit, trimmed, carved, fired, glazed and fired again.
It's base has been sanded smooth.
It is 5cm wide at the mouth and 11.5cm tall.
Wood Moths are an elusive inhabitant of South East Queensland. They only live a few days in their moth form. The females are big.... as big as your hand... and hang out on tree trunks.
Due to the nature of Handmade ceramics, no two pieces are identical and each piece has its very own characteristics and charm.
