FAQs

Who makes all the products?

I do! At present I am a one woman show. I throw or hand build all the product you see here in my home studio in Brisbane. All ceramics are fired onsite in my kiln.

Are your products food safe?

All products are fired to 1220 degrees celcius and are vitrified at this temperature. All glazes are stable and safe to use for food unless specifically stated in product descriptions.

Are your products dishwasher safe?

Yes! All my functional ceramics are safe to go in the dishwasher. Just employ the same care you would for any loved mug.

Do you offer classes?

Not at this time.

Can I pick up my purchase?

Yes! Collection can be arranged from Bunya in Brisbane's north.

Do you ship to my country?

Please send me a message and I will organise a postage quote for you.

 Tell me about your packaging.

My first priority is to get your order to you intact. My second priority is to use renewable packaging or to reuse packaging materials where possible. ALL plastics used in packaging are reused. Please do keep them and use them again.

I ordered a set of tumblers and they are not quite the same size or shape. Is this normal?

Yes. My work comes from my hands and heart to you. There will naturally be variations in size and shape. Handmade products are not factory perfect and we like it that way.

What do your takeaway cups weigh?

My cups generally weight between 200 and 300 grams depending on size.

Do your takeaway cups fit in a car cup holder?

Yes. They have fit in all the holders I have tried them in. If you want to be absolutely certain the cup you have your eye on will fit in your holder please just email and I will be happy to take measurements for you.

Tell me more about the capacity of your takeaway cups.

I've rounded these volumes up or down to the nearest whole number. Ounces are Imperial Fluid Ounces.

180ml = 6 oz

200ml = 7 oz ( just to mess with your barista)

250ml = 8 oz

300ml = 10 oz
