Teapots are among my favourite items to make. The body, lid and spout are thrown, trimmed and attached then the handle is added. Timing is critical as the pieces must be at just the right stage of dryness in order to form a solid bond when attached.
They are needy things during the making process and must be babied along.
The results are pretty special though.
This teapot is 10cm tall without the lid and 10.cm wide at its belly.
