Ash Mug C

Ash glazed mug. The ash used in the glaze recipe is from my slow combustion fire, burning a mix of Australian hardwoods. 

The glaze is deliberately thin so the user can feel the texture of the clay. It's so lovely.

7cm tall and 7.5cm wide at rim.

My work is not factory produced. Irregularities can be present and are part of the handcrafted charm.
