I was asked to make a mug featuring a kelpie. Ceramics being what it is, I made a couple extra. If you have a working dog in your life this is the mug for you!
9cm tall and 7.5cm wide at rim.
This mug is decorated using the sgrafitto method. Black underglaze is painted over white clay and the vessel is carved before firing.
White glaze inside. Clear glaze outside
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
My work is not factory produced. Irregularities can be present and are part of the handcrafted charm.
